The John Kimball, Jr. Memorial Trust
Scholarship Program

In 2016 the Kimball Scholarship Program granted $37,500 to 11 successful applicants, thus bringing the total awarded during the program's 12 year existance to $276,573 to 93 approved applicants.

As background, the program was established by the late Jack Kimball's family in honor of his memory. Mr. Kimball was Topsfield Town Moderator for 28 years, a noted attorney and World War II and Korean War decorated Marine Fighter Pilot who attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. The program is administered by three trustees, two from the Kimball family and one elected official of the Historical Society.

The program is limited to individuals who have a substantial connection to Topsfield and who have a history related project or expense.

The program is now open and applications will be accepted until April 15th, 2017.
